Description
250ml bottle, sold individually.
Started in 1980 by founder of Glem Gas, the father of current owner. Located in the hills above Modena in Castelvetro di Modena.
Made with wine vinegar and must. Manicardi use only cooked must, not concentrated grape juice which is
commercially made under vacuum using Trebbiano, Lambrusco, Sangiovese Grapes.
Often large producers age in barrels of 100,000lt; Manicardi age their IGP vinegars in smaller 4000lt chestnut, oak, mulberry, cherry and juniper barrels. The smaller quantity results in a better flavour.
Aged 12 months. Pairs well with vegetables, salads, grilled and roasted meat.
