A semi-hard farmhouse cheese made in a style not dissimilar to a Tomme de Savoie.  It is smear-ripened with a rich blend of cultures that develop beautiful notes of caramel and butteryness throughout the cheese and a delicious meatiness as it ages.

Naturally, this is a cheese that will work well on a cheese board but with its layers of flavour and umami, it will partner with meats and fermented products in toasties and gratins. It becomes a little stringy when melted, so it is suitable for gourmet pizza or even use in a hearty winter fondue.

Pair with aromatic red wines or a fruity ale.
