This cheese is born in Oberbüren, at the heart of eastern Switzerland.

Once the cheese is shaped, it’s aged for at least 6 months, getting regularly bathed in a secret herbal brine. That’s where it develops that iconic spicy kick and intense flavor.

You’ll get a powerful aroma, earthy and herbal. The taste is rich, spicy, and intense with a salty tang. The texture is dense, yet creamy when warmed on the tongue.

Is great utilized as a melted cheese or on a cheese board.
