Colston Bassett was founded in 1913 and still uses traditional methods of production including hand ladling the curd and hand turning the cheese. They still operate as a farming cooperative and ensure the highest quality milk is used.
Annato added producing the orange colouring.
Firm and crumbly texture, richer than Stilton with a minerally tang, fruity notes and full bodied.
Pairs well with dessert wine, Sherry and Port.
