The people at Savour and Grace are part of Melbourne food culture and have been for decades. Some have been chefs, some front of house in leading restaurants. We eat where you eat. We drink where you drink. We read the same papers and websites and share the same aspirations and frustrations. Like our customers we are a small business with just a modest number of people working with us. Something people really notice when doing business with us.

We get that you need people you can rely on who are practical, responsive to your needs and understand urgency. We understand that good food is about a little bit of glory and a whole heap of hard work. We know that attention to detail and quality control really counts.

At our core Savour and Grace is all about people and product. Being in food has never been easy but it’s often a joy when done well. We are committed to finding product, sharing knowledge, learning from you and enjoying our relationships with our producers and customers.

Owner and co-founder of Savour and Grace Sam Hurst has spent his life in the food business and has extensive knowledge and understanding of preserved and fermented foods.  Sam’s key responsibility is to develop and set Savor and Grace’s strategy and direction. Much of Sam’s day is spent sourcing and selecting products and talking with customers, producers and co-workers about the things that really matter, “People and Product”.

Sally is a qualified chef and has spent the majority of her working life in and around Restaurants and quality food in Melbourne. Sally spends her day meeting with small producers sourcing, grading and selecting the products that eventually make it to our range.

Coming from a chef background, Britta is now learning the extensive range of Savour and Grace producers and product range. When she’s not at Savour and Grace you’ll find her on the hockey rink or eating her way through Melbourne’s incredible restaurant scene.

Julia started her apprenticeship in 1996 at the iconic Bayside Restaurant Donovans from their she worked at several of Melbourne’s best Restaurants.
Julia coordinates all our local and regional orders daily this is a huge job as you can imagine especially during Christmas and Easter.
When shes not at Savour and Grace Julia loves Photography, Baking and getting out in her garden.

Born and bred in France Nicolas believes that Brillat Savarin should be its own food group. Having worked in food most of his life, Savour and Grace was the logical next step. Nicolas loves driving and Melbourne’s hustle and bustle, delivering to our chefs and food retailers. In his spare time he recharges his batteries with his family, cooking and stand up paddle boarding.

Sachin’s background has predominately been hospitality, Sachin worked for The Fruit Box for 4 years delivering Fresh Fruit and Milk to various companies and understands how important it is to deliver and receive orders in quality condition. Sachin now works with our Warehouse team picking and packing orders, stock rotation and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
When Sachin isn’t working he is planning when he can travel again.
